It consists of a slope with nice coral and no current which makes it an easy dive site. The highlight of this dive site are the manta rays. The bamboo sharks are a pretty common sighting around Nusa Penida, next to Nusa Lembongan, where we are based. We have some resident ones in the Manta sites… Probably they also love to see the big flappy things gently swimming around; I don't blame them, I would also move there If I was a "fish". Due to other confirmed sightings of Thresher Sharks, we can say: The Thresher Sharks have arrived!! Usually, they stay here until the end of October so we hope to find them occasionally again during the next weeks. Reef sharks, barracudas, jacks, some big bump head parrot fish, Napoleon wrasse, and many more. There is plenty to see on the Nusa islands and diving from the island is cheaper than diving from Bali since the drive is much shorter.
